Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with high-traffic cloud applications, preferably on AWS.
- Strong full-stack development experience across backend and frontend.
- Experience with Node.js or a similar backend technology; If you have experience with Ruby, do not hesitate to send us your CV.
- Knowledge of modern frontend development, preferably React and TypeScript.
- Strong programming, debugging, and software architecture skills.
- A solid background in building scalable services, APIs, and user-facing features.
- Familiarity with relational databases and automated testing.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and performant production code.
- Confident use of AI-powered tools in day-to-day development workflows.
- A proactive mindset, strong ownership, and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and professional English proficiency.
- Interest in learning new technologies.
Qualifications:
- Ability to build, deploy, and maintain features used by teachers and students.
- Confidence working across a technology stack that includes Node.js, React, TypeScript, Docker, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and Memcached.
- Previous experience with Ruby on Rails or Go is an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
- Experience improving application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Familiarity with dependency upgrades and system modernization.
- Ownership of tasks from implementation through deployment.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to engineering best practices.
Adaptability when working with unfamiliar technologies and development challenges.
Experience with every technology in the stack is not required. Strong engineering fundamentals, adaptability, and willingness to learn are more important.
