WordPress Site Builder – Szeged Office

We are looking for a WordPress Site Builder to join our development team in Szeged. The ideal candidate has a strong focus on custom theme development using ACF / ACF Pro, is experienced with page builders, comfortable communicating with clients (including international partners), and enjoys working in an in-office, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress themes primarily utilizing ACF / ACF Pro
• Build and customize websites using page builders (e.g., Elementor) when project requirements call for it
• Participate in our core development process, which includes local development, version control (GIT), custom plugin development, working with bundlers (like ViteJS, Parcel), and basic server management
• Perform responsive front-end adjustments (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) and configure WooCommerce setups
• Communicate with clients: meetings, feedback handling, and change requests — including international clients (email, calls, Slack)
• Launch, optimize (performance, basic SEO), and maintain websites
• Collaborate closely with the team and clients to successfully deliver projects

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2+ years of experience in custom WordPress theme development, with a strong focus on ACF / ACF Pro
• Practical experience working with Elementor or similar page builders
• Experience or strong familiarity with GIT, local development environments, custom plugin development, modern bundlers (ViteJS, Parcel), and basic server tasks
• Strong communication skills in both Hungarian and English (B2+ level required for client communication)
• A creative mindset with the ability to meet deadlines
• Preference for in-office work and face-to-face collaboration
