Community for Europe cooperation

CommUnity for Europe EEIG (C4E) is formed by 10 members of CommUnity International Network with a view to provide services in accessing hyperlocal audiences throughout the European Union. C4E’s office is located in Brussels and C4E has a direct access to all sorts of think tanks and university networks which have -for almost all of them- an office in the Belgian capitol.

The agility of structure, the stability of the processes, the simplicity of governance, and the proximity of the European Institutions and audiences make C4E capable of reacting and adapting to any kind of situation. The network of agencies in EU27 and the world, can contribute with its own specialist skill set and characteristics to the implementation of any EU overall communication.

C4E has started a cooperation with the EU Commission’s Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) is responsible for EU policy on agriculture and rural development to develop better communications among the involved stakeholders of the agriculture sector.

As a part of our cooperation within Community for Europe our colleague has served as a business analyst for the EU CAP Network website.

The EU CAP Network is set up by the European Commission in order to optimising the flow of information about agriculture and rural policy within the EU. This digital project aimed to merge 3 different websites in order to optimize knowledge sharing between the actors of the field and this process accompanied the transformation of the internal structure of these EU offices.

We have gained precious experience in involving different EU stakeholders residing in Brussels to a communication and digital transformation process as well as working with an independent development team located in Italy. Our colleague worked directly with the leader of the development team, with a project-manager on client side and the leaders of various activities of EU DG Agri offices. Our task was to be a link between agriculture stakeholders and technology team in identifying the contents to be migrated from the 3 old sites to the new one, establish technical definition of these contents in order to ease and serve as a guide for the work of the development team.
We have worked also with communication experts and designers of the C4E in creating and defining newly developed content formats for the efficient communication of the unified agri office’s website.
